I Heart Faces Challenge Let them be Little

My little boy just turned 7 months and he has gotten to the cutest phase. He is starting to explore and is crawling all around.. Yes it makes life a little more hectic, but it is so fun to see his expression when he is caught doing something he shouldn't. As in trying to get up the stairs, he made it up one and then we put the gate up. His new favorite thing is to crawl over this one toy, it makes me laugh so hard, since at first he always got stuck. Now though since he is fully teething he will chew on anything in his path, so of course he must take a break from scooting over to get his chew on. I love the expression on his face it is priceless.

I had so much fun going out and doing this photo shoot. First off the model is a seriously funny, and always makes me laugh. Put him with me husband though and it is some serious entertainment. I love these kids, and so do my children. They are always asking to play with them, and love when we get to go over there. I am loving the blue and orange wall, but I have to say you must go when there is enough shade. I am glad though we were able to made it work.

I love when I have such a beautiful model. Makes my job quite easy, plus she is just about the funnest person to be around. My children adore her, and I am lucky to have her as a friend.
Just a few pictures of the photo shoot we did, we drove all the way out the Eureka. It was completely worth it, well except the for the creepy guys who were hanging around.

I love doing large family groups, it is fun seeing everyone together. I know how hard it is to get everyone together for pictures. This family was awesome, and I loved the colors they picked out.

I am so very behind on keeping this blog updated, so I will be trying to catch up, or at least get a few more pictures up here.

For the 4th of July I took my 3 kiddos to see the hot air balloons, early in the morning. It was a beautiful morning, and wow it is always a beautiful site to see. Here is just a few of the pictures that I took, I have so many it really was hard to choose. Also all of these photo's came straight out of the Camera. I am really proud of how they turned out, and didn't want to add any extra editing to them.

I Heart Faces A Touch of Whimsy

I haven't entered I Heart Faces in so long, but I couldn't pass this one up. I finally got around to taking my daughter out to do a photo session that I had been dreaming up in my head. She is taking dance class and is LOVING it, and all day she is dancing. So when the studio did photo's for the dance recital, I knew I didn't want just the same old posed photo of her. This isn't her recital outfit either because for her recital they dressed up as train conductors (it was really cute and sparkly). For my envisioned picture though I wanted something pretty and more timeless.
Of course she was happy to be my little model, and I am in love how it came out. It soon will be hanging on the wall in her room. I am just trying to decide if I want to add a little saying or not. Go check the other Whimsical Photos Here There are some amazing ones!

I just love these chunky ties for boy by KBP Designs. I love the look of them over the skinny ones, and she has such a fun variety of designs to choose from. She is also now doing diaper covers, so I had to put some on my new little guy and take some pictures. I took these a while ago, but just didn't have time to put them on here. I need to take some news one of him with them on since he has gotten bigger since then. He just looks so adorable, I a love that the diaper cover makes him look more dressed up, without having to have a ton of clothes on. Since babies hate all the layers, and its perfect in the summer. I am the kind of person who HATES just the onesie look, for some reason I just need to have my babies all dressed up. So I am really loving this option, and so does my little guy. I had our newest addition last Tuesday, and we are so excited that it is an adorable little boy.
He is just as prefect as can be, such a sweet baby. Here is just a few pictures from a little photo shoot I did with him the other day. I still need to do another one and have his sister and brother in them as well. Hopefully this weekend.

KBP Designs Ties

My sister asked me awhile if I could take some pictures of some ties she makes. I didn't mean to but I put it off for a few weeks. Until i realized I better do it soon before the baby comes. I am so glad I did the boys looks so cute in their ties. I used my little boy and my neighbors little boy as models, now I just need to finish taking pics of the ties by themselves. My sister makes the cutest ties, and I love how they are chunkier ones. The Velcro on in the back, and really just look super adorable on. If you want to check them out go HERE to her Etsy shop. She is also the one who has made a lot of my props for me, from different cocoons, and crocheted flowers, to yarn shaggy blanket thing, and more. She is quite talented, I didn't get such a crafty gene.

I LOVE taking this little cutie's pictures, this time was a little trickier since she is crawling. We got some really cute ones. Plus I was playing around with making some vintage looking, which I think are now my favorite. I also feel it helps add to the look we wanted with some of the poses. The third picture down just makes me giggle every time, it reminds me so much of her Mom.

This little girl is such a doll, and has the prettiest dark blue eyes. I really love her big smile, reminds me of her Momma. She does make me hope a little that our baby is a girl. We decided (or I did and forced him into it) that we would find out the gender of this baby. I figure we have one of each let this one be a fun surprise. Since I now have officially 9 weeks left to go (in my head only 7, haha I really don't want to go full term), we will find out soon enough.
Ok I digressed enough, I couldn't decided on just a couple so here is a good sneak peek, of some really cute pictures. She was really good, and then when I showed her she could see herself on my camera, well that's all she wanted to do. Easy fix I just went and got my mirror, she completely loved that. I really love those pictures, you can tell she was having so much fun. This session was such a blast, I am so glad we did it.

My younger sister had twins, and it happened to be a boy and a girl. I have been dying to take their pictures, but since they came about 6 weeks early. We have had to wait, they spent about 4 weeks in the hospital, and came home doing great. They are both so cute and tiny, and look absolutely nothing alike. So here is just a little peak, their pictures are really cute. It was a lot different working with preemies, we had to take a lot of extra precautions. Since we didn't want to stress them out. They are so use to not being a held a ton that just moving them to different poses was hard on them. They can't do a lot of light so I just used the light coming in from the window. That was still bright on them so we would have to move them to a darker room in between, but a lot better then if I would have used my lights. They both were so good though hardly even cried.

Maternity

Well this is my first maternity photo shoot, and it happens to be for me. I set everything up, and gave my husband the camera. Which I set up as well, and had him take just a few pictures.
I am growing my hair out and it's driving me crazy so just ignore that. I really love the way they turned out, and for some reason I like them even more in Black and White..
So I am 27 weeks right now, doing pretty good, just having to slow down a bit, and not lift quite as much. Not to big of a deal, I was probably doing a little to much anyways.

He has really gotten into Monster Trucks lately and can not get enough of them. Like right now as I am typing he is trying to watch videos on You Tube of Monster Jams. So of course he wanted pictures taken with his trucks, so I tried to take a few of him as well.

This was such a fun family, I had a blast and we used every last bit of light we could. I love this picture you can see the sun setting off behind the mountains. This family was so much fun to work with, and the kids are just adorable. It was pretty chilly when we started out, but it warmed up pretty fast. The only down side was how wet and muddy everything was because of all the rain, but we made it work and found some awesome places to take pictures.

This one just makes me laugh, you can tell by the look in her face she was done and just wanted to run around and play.

This weekend I decided that it would be fun to take the kids out for a fun little photoshoot. My hubby even came along, so it was nice to have help and he held my reflectors for me. That was AWESOME, so I could get the perfect lighting. I love all the fall colors this time of year it was so beautiful.

Then when we came home we played around and took a few more.. They were only into the pictures for just a minute, but I think we got a few cute ones..

I love that we are finally having nice summer weather here. Give me a couple of weeks I am sure I will be begging for the cooler weather, but for now I love it. We went on a nice long walk today so they could play at the park. Now we passed a couple of parks on the way but this one is their favorite. I am proud of my kiddos for making it about 2 miles just to get there.

So this adorable baby's name really starts with an A but since 2 of my friends both had their babies on the same day, and both named their girls with a name that started with an A. I figured I better go with the last name. She was also the wiggliest baby I have ever seen, and that is compared to my two crazy kids who both crawled so earlier. I completely LOVE spring time, it is absolutely beautiful outside. This year stinks though since my little boy broke his collar bone. So we are trying hard to keep him from hurting it worse, which tends to be difficult since he is so clumsy just like me.. We were outside for about 30 minutes, and we were so loving, but then he fell and of course that made it hurt worse so back inside we went. I still love you spring even though I have been cooped up indoors, thank you for the pretty blossoms on our tree.

Our Dear Friend got married last week, and we were so lucky to be apart of it. Has has 4 children and she has one so they joined their family to make 5. It was a beautiful day, just a little cold. Ok maybe REALLY Cold.. it was freezing, so my awesome husband even took some of these pictures while I tried to warm up the two little girls.. We were just guest at this wedding (it was fun taking pictures of just the random happenings). My hubby also was the best man, and he looked so good in his tux.. I loved seeing him all dressed up..

I dont know how dramatic this picture is but I do love it. Last summer my brother in law came out for a visit, and we went on a hike around the mountains.. It was a really nice day, not to hot, but every time I turned around he was on his phone. He had a hard time not using it, but I guess thats what happens when you have a lot of apps to play with..

This week is Jump for Joy!! First I love jumping pictures, the facial expressions normally are hysterical. I kept looking through all my pictures trying to decide which one to pick, but I kept coming back to this one. Maybe it was for the fact that I laughed almost the whole time we did his session, or for the fact that I crack up every time I see the expression on his face. This week at I heart Faces, it is Hands On Fun. I had a few pictures in mind, but then today my husband went out to weld on his car. His car he is working on is this old VW Bug, it was given to him, so his dream is to fix it all up. I love watching him work on the car, his faces lights up like a little child on Christmas. Even though at first when we got the car I was upset because it took up more space in the garage, now I love it because it makes him completely happy. It also has given me something else to take pictures of, this was a little harder then I first thought. Since you are not suppose to look at all the sparks when the welding is actually going on. So I had to try and focus on his hands when he was stopped then close my eyes when he started. I love the pictures I got from going out there with him, and it was a great learning experience for me. This week at I Heart Faces is "I Wanna Dance", which I do have a ton of pictures of my little ones dancing. They both love to dance, and some days it seems like all they do. My favorite is when my husband gets dancing with them, and I love when he dances with our daughter. She is completely into Princesses and fairy tales, so she loves when her Daddy dances with her, because it is like they are at a ball. I wasn't sure if I was going to enter the contest at I Heart Faces this week. This week is texture, and that is something I am just starting to play around with. I know though there will be a ton of awesome entries so check them out HERE. I do love this picture of my little man, he was just taking a rest from all his playing outside, and just looked so cute sitting by the door I had to take a picture.

This week for I heart Faces is Family, which is completely s much fun. I had a hard time picking out just one picture. I really love this one, the little girl was so cute, and was completely done having her picture taken, so of course she needed her mom to hold her. Go HERE to see more awesome Family pictures.

E+M Wedding { Utah Wedding Photographer }

We decided to go and take some pictures a few days before the big day, that way we didnt have to take so many pictures on their wedding day. Which ended up being a smart idea since it was freezing cold on their wedding day, and also cloudy. They day we went was beautiful and had blue skies. Now with that said it was still cold, it just wasn't 3 degrees, we also got to walk though lots and lots of snow. My pants were wet up to my knee, if I ever do that again I am bringing a spare change of clothes. the grooms socks were soaked, and I joked that he was getting cold feet. We had tons of fun, and I hope they enjoy the pictures..

This week is best faces week, I had a different picture picked out, until I started editing these wedding pictures, I just took them last week. I love her eyes in this picture, she looked gorgeous and it was a beautiful day. Go Here to check out others entries.

This week is I Heart Faces First Birthday of doing the contest. I was so excited about, but it took me a little bit trying to figure out what to do. WOW, this was an adventure, but it was completely worth it. All the nice ice, and snow, or the iced over snow, makes it a little hard to move around in. Especially when trying to keep the dress clean. Oh and she was so cold by the end of it all, but doesn't she look gorgeous. Sorry for an over load of pictures but I really had a hard time picking a few, it was hard just narrowing it down this far.

First Big Snow Day!!

Even though I am not a huge fan of the snow, my kids LOVE it.. They were both excited to go out and play.. I have also decided that I can handle the snow better then I can the COLD weather we have been having.. This -5 is just not working for me.

Week 48 "Sweet Dreams"

This week's contest is Sweet Dreams, I have tons of pictures of my children, or other kids sleeping, but I picked this one because he looks just so sweet. Not caring what else is going on, just wanting to go to sleep. He is such a sweet baby.

I had so much fun with them, it ended up having to be done on 2 different days. The first days was so snowy and cold, we got some really fun ones, but I am gald we decided to try again the next day. It was beautiful, also tried a different location. I think they turned out really nice.

I took my two little ones out for a quick photo shoot. I love this location, they can just run around until I am ready. Some times that makes it harder, but it does wear them out. I have tried for almost 2 years to get another cute picture of them actually next to each other, finally got one. Thanks to my sister, since she got them both to look at her.. For some reason when the two of them are together the wont look at the camera, yet I did all the other pictures by myself, what a couple of crazy kids..

I just love the first one.. it is completely her..

I can't really pick a favorite of his.. he has such a funny personality.

I had a blast with this family, they are so much fun to be around. The parents are also celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. I was nervous earlier that day, since it was so cloudy, I really thought it was going to get stormy, but it was a beautiful evening. Thanks again, I had a blast that night. So I couldn't turn down the opportunity, even though they just wanted to dance around or take silly shots, it was still a lot of fun. What a beautiful, I had the opportunity to photograph... We got rained out of the first location, then decided to just do some indoor one. Then we got lucky and the rain stopped just enough for us the go out and get some really cute ones..

My husband took my camera and went to Bonneville and took some pictures at speed week, going on there. I have to say his pictures look amazing, good job babe!!

I keep trying to get new fabulous pictures of my two to hang on the wall, but they are getting so use to the camera that they dont care to even look at it, so this is what I get just trying to chase them down a hill and sit still for a minute. I had the lighting set up they way I wanted only they wouldnt sit where I wanted, but I still think it turned out pretty cute.. Maybe next time I will have to do a bigger bribe though..
